Happy PD Monday!
One of the things we love most is working directly in schools. With a PD day happening across many districts today, we partnered with 5 organizations across K-12 and higher ed, supporting the responsible adoption of AI in education with some hands-on educator training.
And this is just the beginning of what's shaping up to be an exciting week. By Friday, our team will have been to every region in the country, working with 14 organizations across 15 locations:
- 10 K-12 Districts and Schools
- 2 Higher Education Institutions
- 2 Nonprofits
Our work this week covers a diverse range of topics:
- GenAI foundational literacy training for educators
- Keynotes and summits on AI implementation
- AI implementation roadmaps for school leaders
- Building student AI literacy
- Redefining assessment strategies
- AI for differentiation and personalized learning
- Tool exploration for professional work practices
- GenAI for research and data analysis
- Generative AI for parents and caregivers
In addition to our work in schools, this week we're also leading networking and Q&A sessions for 118 educators and school leaders from 69 institutions across our 3 courses. Participants are starting to develop their final projects: creating AI literacy workshops, guidelines, and implementation plans.
What's particularly exciting is the variety of learners we're reaching—from K-12 students in assembly settings to college faculty, from individual school districts to educational non-profits. Each community brings unique questions and challenges, and we're grateful to create spaces where educators and students can explore AI with intention and confidence.
Thank you to all of our partners for trusting us to support your AI literacy journey. Your commitment to preparing students and educators for an AI-integrated world is inspiring.
