From Fear to Action: Navigating AI in Education with the Ground-Build-Propel Model

Aug 25, 2026

Recent research shows that unstructured AI adoption is raising serious concerns among educators about its impact on student learning. Most institutions still lack the clear guidance and strategy needed to address it.

The 2026 Stanford AI Index found that more than 80% of students are already using AI for schoolwork, yet just 6% of teachers say their institution's policies are clear (when they have them at all).

Bridging the gap between AI's presence and intentional AI integration has never been more urgent.

In our next free webinar Tuesday, Aug. 25th, we’re joined by Dr. Julaine Fowlin, researcher, educational developer, and author. She draws on her applied work across K-12 and higher education to introduce the Ground-Build-Propel Model: a practitioner-developed framework for strategic, phased AI integration.

In this session we will explore:

  • What the research tells us about unstructured AI adoption and its impact on student learning

  • How the Ground-Build-Propel Model provides a phased, practical path toward intentional AI integration

  • How to assess where your institution currently stands and identify your most urgent next steps

Can’t make the time? A recording + resources will be emailed to all registrants.
