Students at the Table: Co-designing AI Tools for Education

Sept. 1, 2026

Students are experiencing new GenAI tools in education, but they are rarely involved in their design. What changes when students are included? In this webinar, we explore what student co-design of AI tools actually looks like, what learners gain from the experience, and what educators and developers can learn from putting students at the table.

This session is for educators, administrators, and ed tech leaders interested in student agency, AI literacy, and what meaningful learner-centered design looks like in practice.

In this session we will explore:

  • How using and co-designing AI tools shapes students as learners, critical thinkers, and future workers

  • How and why building AI tools alongside students, educators, and researchers changes the process and the product

  • What one platform's approach to student co-design reveals about the future of learner-centered AI development

  • What educators and institutions can take from the co-design model and apply in their own contexts

Can’t make the time? A recording + resources will be emailed to all registrants.
