Whether you have never opened a Generative AI (GenAI) tool or use one every day, this microcourse meets you where you are. You will build a clear understanding of how GenAI works, develop a principled mindset for using it responsibly, and leave with practical prompting skills you can apply right away. This is the shared foundation for everything else in the suite and for your school's broader conversations about AI.
This microcourse is the recommended starting point for the GenAI Eductor Essentials Suite. It establishes the knowledge and framework that makes every subsequent microcourse more effective, but each course in the suite can also be taken independently.
