AI Education Project Showcase Highlights
The best part of what we do at AI for Education is working directly with educators and leaders who are committed to responsible AI adoption. As part of our whirlwind August, we had our final project showcases for our three micro-credential courses:
- GenAI Literacy Trainer Essentials
- Adapting Instruction & Assessment with GenAI
- Leading GenAI Strategy & Policy
It is wild to see that in the 8 months since we launched our first cohort, we’ve had educators join from 30 countries and over 275 K-12 and higher education organizations.
We had such a great time working with these cohorts as they supported each other through developing meaningful AI adoption strategies for their organizations. At the end, participants put their learning into action to create comprehensive AI literacy plans, GenAI guidelines and policies, and new assessment practices as their final projects.
Here are some of our favorite projects:
- Supporting Teacher Growth with GenAI
- Using AI for instruction - Foundational Skills for Teachers
- GenAI as a Learning Partner in Assessments (and avoiding cognitive offloading)
- From Restaurant to AI Policy: Misconceptions, Realities, Proposed Actions for Developing AI School District Policies
- CTRL + ALT + Rethinking = Rebooting: AI Integration with Literacy and Values
- AI in Student Services: From Concern to Confidence - Powered by Curiosity
- The Future of Assessments: Where AI Meets Human Insights
- AI Literacy for Educators: Safe, Effective, Ethical Use in the Classroom
- Faculty & Staff GenAI Responsible Use Policy
We’re so honored to be able to do this work with all of these educators on the front lines in their schools and communities. Thank you to all the schools and participants who were a part of our summer cohorts and looking forward to the launch of our new cohorts this month.
For those who are interested in learning more, check out our upcoming cohort dates - September cohorts will be closing soon!
